Wallke eBike Error Codes Explained and Solutions

Your Wallke eBike is equipped with an error detection system integrated into the display and controller. If your bike stops working and displays an error code, it indicates a malfunction. We recommend a quick inspection of your electronics.

Most Common Solutions

Throttle Error (Error 022)

• Verify your throttle has returned to its original position.
• Remove any obstructions from the throttle.
• Ensure the throttle is properly connected.
• Check the throttle and throttle cable for damage.

Brake Error (Error 025)

• Verify brake levers on both sides have returned to their original position.
• Remove any obstructions from the brakes.
• Check the brake cable for damage.

Notes on boot-up tests:

• Boot holding the brake, no error code: brake cable is broken.
• Boot holding the brake, error code appears, brake still doesn't stop motor: brake cable is broken.

Communication Error (Error 30)

May indicate a communication problem between the controller and display, usually due to a poor connection.

• Unplug and replug all eBike connections.
• Check cables for damage.
• If the issue persists, unplug the sensor connector and restart display. Check error code.
• Unplug throttle connector and restart display. Check error code.
• Unplug headlight connector and restart display. Check error code.
• Unplug both brake level connectors and restart display. Check error code.
• Unplug motor and restart display. Check error code.

Motor Error (Error 024)

• Unplug and replug motor connections.
• Check motor cables for damage.
