The E-Bike Adventure of Horace
It was December 11, 2021, when horace took a leap into the world of electric biking. His excitement peaked the moment UPS delivered his first eBike. He could hardly contain himself as he hurriedly assembled it in his living room. The thrill of that initial ride through his neighborhood was indescribable; every pedal felt like flying, and he knew he had discovered something special—there was no going back to regular biking.
A Memorable Journey
One of his most memorable rides occurred with his two cousins, Ricky and David.They embarked on an adventurous journey along the Santa Ana River Trail, starting from Yorba Linda and ending up in Irvine. The highlight was crossing over on a ferry boat to Balboa Island, California. The round trip totaled around 57 miles, yet it still had plenty of battery life left! The combination of their laughter, shared stories, and the beauty of nature made this ride unforgettable.

The Essence of Cycling
For him, cycling embodies freedom—it's about exploring places that cars or motorcycles can't legally access. On his eBike, he can travel efficiently while immersing himself in the surrounding scenery without the barrier of a window. This is why he cherish cycling as his primary outdoor sport.
His experience with the Wallke H9 AWD has been fantastic. Both Ricky and he have enjoyed using their bikes without any issues so far. The power and reliability of these machines are incredible, especially the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) mode that helps tackle steep hills effortlessly. The torque produced gives him that extra edge to zoom past challenging terrains.
The Joy of Riding
The greatest pleasure he find in riding his folding fat tire eBike is the sense of adventure it brings. With pedal assist, when fatigue sets in, he can rely on his bike's motor to carry him further while appreciating the mesmerizing landscapes. Additionally, he enjoy capturing outdoor photographs and videos during his rides, blending two passions seamlessly.
He try to ride 2-4 times a week during winter, while summer evenings become his preferred time for neighborhood excursions. They usually stick to bike trails to avoid the sometimes-hostile streets. Sharing the road with cars can be nerve-wracking, so he advocate for dedicated bike lanes separated by barriers to enhance safety for all cyclists.
Advocating for Biking
Biking isn't just a hobby; it’s an efficient and environmentally friendly transport method. Imagining highways lined with bike-only lanes brings hope for a safer future. Not only would it reduce accidents, but it would also encourage more people to choose biking over driving.
